hey all,

i've recently been trying to keygen an application using crypkey, and I seem to be having some weird results from ckinfo 1.14.

From the .ngn file I've got the master key and site code, however I'm confused as the master key and the site code both have different account numbers and company numbers. They master key is also v7, whilst the side code is v6.1.

When trying to use and entering the site code, it does not ask for any more information and just generates an invalid code. Please see the below.

just create '<target_name>.ckinfo' file with the options. next load it to 'ckinfo.exe'. see the examples for study.

Interestingly this seems to be how all the user keys are formatted. On the application, it gives you the user key to enter online to generate the license. The Uk I used above was that one given. Found a UK in the ngn file which is also the same format

gxorge, I believe I am looking at the same application as you as I have the same master key but am struggling to locate the userkey and think it must be somehow hashed or obfuscated, did you manage to get any further?

But I cannot locate a valid userkey! Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

MK and UK placed in the target software - just search it

The userkey I have obtained from the ngn file is DF82CE092CAD8F2B21956F36E4 but this does not work and must be modified some how, any ideas how I can move forward with this?

you can get valid UK from dumped ngn-file if can't search it in target exe/dll...

Hi comfy, from what I've figured out from other Gent applications is that the 'user code' in the license form is actually the site code. The userkey, I believe, is 'DF82CE092CAD8F2B21956F36E4'. It seems with all Gent apps the userkey fails to parse on ckinfo. I've successfully managed to get into the other apps using the license form's usercode as the site code and then the user key in the source. The only problem with this app (assuming we are both talking about the Comm tool), is that ckinfo 1.14 does not have the decryption keys for the side code. I always get the error Error #16: Error occurred decrypting the Site Code - Encryption Keys Not Found. So that is where I am stuck.

Don’t think we’ll be able to get any further with it as it’s v8. I don’t think even the newer versions of ckinfo can do v8.

It works fine. See proof here: Run your installed prog and provide the Site Code (shown as User Code). I will post the Key for you.

Interesting, what version of ckinfo are you using? This is the requested. D21C F7C9 BF5A 2A16 13. Not sure if mine is just out of date (using 1.14), but it just throws an encryption keys not found error for me.

I noticed during test that if installed in a VM, the license shows as "expired" after every restart.
But the app still runs fine if you click continue.

When installed on real PC no such issues (at least for me).
The Ckinfo v1.14 used. Sorry, I'm in a bit of a hurry, need to go now... :o

Yeah that worked, really weird why my version doesn't. Are you able to send your ckinfo executable by wetransfer or something?

I have managed to do it using 1.14+. Best not to use unlimited licences as I don't think the tool likes it. This is the key config you want to use:
Note the key options, if you do "1,2" you get the 'Universal' branding, which I assume makes the tool function with SenTRI panels too. For the GENT branding you want to do "1,3". Cheers to all who helped me figure this out.

Playing with options you will get something different presented on GUI mainscreen:
KeyOptions=1,3 provide Honeywell Gent
KeyOptions=1,2 provide FireAlarm
KeyOptions=1,4 provide SMS Sentri

Anyone known more about this? Probably some other options will give different results.

I don't think there would be anything else. The comissioning tool is used for GENT vigilon fire panels and SMS Sentri fire panels. They both are technically different entities but are all owned by Honeywell and are essential the same panel just under a different name. You get different licnences depending on which brand you are trained on, so I guess there are slight changes with configs depending on which one you use? However, mostly cosmetic I think.

This is very interesting, the MK you are using is not the same one as originally posted, so im curious as I obtained the same..

Just post the main executable files(s) instead of the 1 GB download to make it easier for anyone trying to help.

you have MK from 'crp32002.ngn', not from 'set.exe'

just run 'set.exe' and get License dialog, dump 'set.exe' or 'crp32002.ngn'. get MK and UK from this one.

also if your software provide a trial key - you can make SK by self


add: use [code|[/code] for long MK string

add2: some files protected by the CrypStelth (ex. 'Set.exe')

Nice! Just needed my reply on this thread to get things running from @FoxB on this request that was silent for the past few days... :D No complaints from me. More people working on this is better!
