TSRH site down

Is TSRH.ws site down? Could anyone hear something about TSRH team website? I can't access website anymore.

tonyweb 06-01-2025 23:16

Yes, it's down. Its shutdown was vouched in chatbox some time ago. A pity, indeed.

As far as I grasped (I can be wrong, of course), issue was keeping running it with fully active (trusted) moderators and/or admins.

sendersu 06-02-2025 00:56

as I've heard, Cachito (owner) has got some issues with the hosting or server...

There was a discussion in the forum before it closed.

Running a warez/piracy forum by whatever name is a thankless endeavor, where the only beneficiaries are the leechers and those who profit from the cracked software.
The administrators are burdened with the relentless onslaught of DMCA complaints, spammers, and mounting maintenance costs.
Conventional web hosts shun piracy sites, leaving only the more expensive alternatives that tolerate such activities.

One by one, the admins came to this painful realization and departed, leaving just Cachito.
History has shown that piracy forums inevitably fade away, their lifespans tragically shorter than those of their non-piracy counterparts.
It is merely a matter of time before the admins recognize the futility of their struggle, without any personal gain, and ultimately decide that the fight is no longer worth the stress.

@dyers_eve, from your post I have understand that tsrh is permanently closed right? I hope this is just a temporary situation

JMP-JECXZ 06-02-2025 15:13

TSRh was more than a warez site. It helps reversers to access resources and sources about reversing and stuff. :/ Slowly we disappear...

sendersu 06-02-2025 17:05

just wondering - did the forum has smth to do with the original tsrh crew? (The Sabotage Rebellion Hackers (TSRh) originating back 25+ years ago...)

Unfortunately, yes. From what we know right now, it is closed for good. Not temporary.

I'm not with you, warez and stolen other things, so seek, you may find surrogate?

What do you mean by stolen? Like:

* Leaked source codes
* IDA Pro leaks
* Binary Ninja leaks

Can you open a little more?

I meant dowmloaded from other boards and uploaded on own board in some cases, but that may be obviously normal
Doesn't matter, I stopped working for requests long time ago, because too much people were making some kind of business with the work of reversers and that wasn't my intension

Sound 06-04-2025 22:21

Yes, it has closed down. The reason has been made clear in a recent chat. This is a very unfortunate thing. I am proud to be a VIP member of TSRH. I thank TSRH forum for its long-term efforts. I have to say it is a great forum.

Shub-Nigurrath 06-05-2025 02:43

Can this reason be shared?

sendersu 06-05-2025 03:20

does Tsrh crew still working on the scene
if yes do they have some site..?

@Shub-Nigurrath: Reason shared in post #4.

@sendersu: No. The team stopped working on the scene a few years ago. Now the site is also completely closed.

I am sad to see the TSRh site taken down but I agree with squareD.
For the past 3-4 years it turned into mostly a warez forum with second-hand content posted from other places.

For the past 3-4 years, we click on the "New Posts" button, we see over 90 new posts daily, but most of them are simply requests to re-upload dead links from very old threads.
The few recent posts are primarily requests for cracks from sellers, turning the site into a marketplace for crack sellers.
This situation is all too familiar to regular visitors of the TSRh forum. :(

The VIP user tag has lost its significance, as it was granted to nearly everyone, including myself, a few years ago, even to those who lacked the skills to create proper cracks.
Nearly every old user is a "VIP" member in that TSRh forum.

The non-crack-request posts are mostly chatter from users trying to keep the forum alive.

Sadly, much like how @sendersu, @blue devil, @wx69wx2023 and a few others make posts in this Exetools forum to keep up conversation whenever they see it going dead...
Check out the posts in this Exetools forum also for the past several months: Lot of posts but very little new information of real value...
Nearly everything shared here also the past many months is either content from other forums (ru-board/telegram) or free github type links.

It was only a matter of time before the Admins woke up to the fact that maintaining the TSRh forum was a waste of resources and shut it down.
Reasons beautifully summed up by the veteran user in post #4.

this seems to be a common thing lately for most sites in an attempt to increase post count and points to be able to access the rest of the forum... download, crack request etc.

Shub-Nigurrath 06-05-2025 16:16

Ultimately, the reasons that led ARTeam to shut down remain the same. They persisted longer. The only amusing aspect is the eventual sharing of a bit of information and how-tos, tricks, and so forth in the few serious, educational, and community-building spaces like this and tuts4u (along with a few others). The readily available pirated content is primarily for leechers. I hope to see TSRh friends here from time to time.

tuts4u and exetools are, however, slowly heading in the same direction, despite their administrators' efforts to maintain them. Nevertheless, they are the only forums left.

I would propose creating a sort of "band-of-volunteerous ppl" here to ensure that at least exetools posts remain high quality. Knowledge on X and other publicly available channels is mainstream, and RCE there is just for whitehats and people showcasing their skills/muscles. If we lose these forums, we lose a cultural heritage too.

Good luck with everything to TSRh!

Oh I got it! You're right. But you know; like -unfortunately- all forums do the same/similar :/

Zeokat 06-06-2025 06:13

Sad news, TSRh was the first reversing forum that i joined long time ago. In this last era, I agree that the forum was almost a warez forum.

It's very sad to see reversing forums close down and this group culture disappear. Sharing, learning, meeting other people with your same interests... it seems like all these virtues are a thing of the past. It seems like everything has changed.

For my part, I wish I could contribute something, but my skills are very limited, but reversers awaken in me a great respect for this old art that is sadly disappearing.

My best wishes to the members of TSRh.

There was a long discussion on the TSRh forum about this matter before it closed.
Read my post for more details.

Shub-Nigurrath 06-09-2025 17:58

Occasional hiccups, nothing serious ..

ZeNiX 06-10-2025 14:05

On Sunday, there was a power outage and were not there to restart the power supply.
However, I, myself, encountered the same situation several times today.
We will check the log of couldflare and fix the problem.

Can someone confirm that this forum is opened by the real TSRh members? Or is that something else?

sandalik 10-29-2025 06:44

The new site is not affiliated to the old TSRh forum. Fake just like the exetools.net site.
But some genuine reversers who did not know that the site is fake did register in the past 20 days, in that site. So yes, CodeCracker, rooster1 and a few others are real ones.

Such sites are typically set up and kept running until they get heavy visitor traffic and then the site suddenly taken down and the domain sold off for profit.

The tonyweb.xyz, tsrh.live, tsrh.xyz, uret.live, uret.xyz, exetools.live, exetools.xyz all used to be fake sites and belonged to same group and used for fake sites.
I am naming the above domains since they are no longer active.
