SnD and other teams still doing "releases" though the request board had closed down a couple of years ago.

Many others teams are also still active and they keep releasing, though its not done with a lot of pomp and publicity.

I guess many a team members had "grown" up and now have too many "real-life" responsibilities to be able to "actively" maintains forums etc
