Some content was leaked by an account who was already a member.

Why? Leaker/s was/were found and board secured.

I also (still) have an account there. The so-called "advanced member" account". It is pretty useless though since content posted there is also posted in at least 3 other forums. Whatever is not posted is leaked within 2 days.

No... The forum was hacked and the content was mirrored to another site called betabbs.vip
(That can be seen in that "warning notice page" sidebar on the left side at:

Nearly all the "useful" private content was mirrored and left on the mirror betabbs.vip site for over a year.
The mirror site was kept updated with new content for over 2 years.
Then when the private section of betabbs started going dead, the mirror site was left to expire.

There is another new live mirror from the past year though with content from the private section of betabbs. I do not think it's appropriate to mention that site here?
But most of the veteran users already know about it anyway.

The "new" content is nothing that is not also posted at common warez forums.
As already mentioned, there is also the new mirror...
So betabbs.org is still definitely not secured.

@tonyweb Since you've made the post, it should be okay for me to say it now:
That attack at betabbs.org was done because tonyweb was a member at that forum.
So because of him, the whole forum was targeted and a lot of inoocent members including myself were attacked.
So tonyweb has an implied interest in trying to speak good of betabbs.
I is not my place to say the exact reasons behind the attack on the forum but I am sure that tonyweb is well aware that he was the main target.

Everyone lost confidence in that forum's ability to maintain security of its members after that attack.

I am a neutral person. But I was also doxxed completely and had a lot of trouble in real life due to that.
