Lightbulb what u Think ??

Exetools members :
Guys do u like to make a new section hold this name :
- Collaborate with me to Crack a Program -

some guys don't like to work alone on Cracking a program ..then he will got a chance to work with other here .
but this section will hold this rule which is very important :
U have to work on ur program first then where u stop then u put all u have to discuss it .
so this is not as a request ..it is as a place for make more action not else ...
so what u think Exetools Members .

note : of course if we found that the member as for Crack a program ( just ) without to see what he work then we will delete his post .
we need to make it as a discussion place ...I hope u got the idea

Thumbs up

ahmadmansoor

I think this is an excellent idea.

Crackers working as a team with multiple brains to attack the target
If this happens the sky is the limit!

Lets do it!

Regards

in case of creating such forum section, some rules must be applied:
* before "Collaborate", cracker needs to do not just basic research, but complete investigation of application he try to crack, otherwise lazy guys will spam board with 'crack requests', not collaboration tasks
* after first post in new topic, cracker-topic-owner must publish some results, not just waiting for others
* collaborators must publish detailed info about their cracking process: no chat, info must be well prepared, so other forum members can easily participate
* may be after successful cracking session write a tutorial, based on cracking process
* enjoy fun cracking together

I don't know if my idea can be implemented, but you could put some kind of limitation on the ability to start a new topic, not on replying to the topic though, either set it to a specific number of posts or by group, this would limit the spam, but still allow people to participate in active topics.

Ok we can consider that ....so we will make it limit to group ....
by this it will make the work professionally ...and not spam the section

I have been working alone for over 20 years.
I like to share. But it seems there are selfish lamers flooded in many forums.
I like the idea of limitation on starting a new topic mentioned by WHAT, and I like the rules mentioned by Jupiter.

Also, I have been thinking that maybe we can start from attacking some well known commercial protectors, say License Protectors and Dongle protectors. And make some tools on our own.

I am on a business trip and will be back in one week.
And I look forward to more participators.

I think that this is a very cool idea. Also, I'd like to suggest a rule:
each thread must contain [PROTECTION_NAME] or [CUSTOM] if the protection is something coded in-house.
This way it's going to be possible for somebody with expertise on a given protection to easily find threads he can contribute to and for people looking for information on a given protection to sift only through the threads of interest

one thing, there shall be no "cracked" binary release in the process.

if this section comes eventually, i'd like to start one

Agree with dion.

Purpose of this section should be to share RCE knowledge, learn from fellow reverses, share expertise with the group, and to tackle difficult problems.
Also agree that this section should be restricted to certain groups.

Suggest to set minimum entry requirement at "junior member Level" (even if this means that I will have to make more effort to be bumped up one level)
